Go go Cleveland Indians, rah rah
Thursday, October 4th, 2007I am breaking my self-imposed vow of silence this week in order to post about baseball. The Cleveland Indians, with the best record in baseball for 2007, are playing the New York Yankees tonight at 6:30.
Even though the Indians have a better record, they are 0-6 against the Yankees this season.
Tradesports says there is a 54% chance that the Yankees win:

And the market puts the odds of the Indians winning the World Series at 11%:

But the chart looks nice, doesn’t it? I’d buy it.


Often we become so used to things that we don’t even notice them. I’m visiting my hometown in Ohio now and even though I am sure I heard this sound every day growing up, I never really consciously remember thinking about it. It was just there in the background, forming the shape of Home in my subconscious.
