Tempo Giusto
I read an interesting article today about Carl Honore's book, In Praise of Slow, which is about the Slow Movement and opposition to the fast pace of modernity.
It reminds me of a story from one of Jesse Livermore's books about a trend trader who lived secluded in the mountains with no communication from the outside world. The only news he was able to get about the stock market was from a newpaper he would receive a week late - from the week before. Still, he was a very successful trader and was able to make a fortune.
Everyone must find the pace with which they are the most comfortable. But the important thing to note is that the tools you use are not as important as the way that you use them.
