My quotidian diet
After reading April's blog about caloric restriction, I decided to post my daily diet. I often mix things up a bit, but here is the general idea:
1) Breakfast - A bowl of cereal with 1% milk. This morning I had Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Raisin Bran with 11g of fiber and 600mg of Omega-3 per serving. And a large cup of green tea.
2) Lunch - A handful of walnuts, another handful of dried apricots and a small salad with cherry tomatoes.
3) Dinner - A veggie burger on Sara Lee Heart Healthy Plus 100% Multi-Grain bread with 4g of fiber per slice - topped with romaine and a slice of tomato. Served with a baked potato and Brussels sprouts.
4) Snack - Sometimes I will have a handful of blueberries or a banana and often I will have an after dinner snack of light microwave popcorn (which is actually pretty healthy - except for the salt) or some Oatscream. Have you ever tried Oatscream? I love it.
5) Evening tea - while I scan the stocks I have a jar of Rooibos tea.
Sometimes I break down and eat a lot more, but I strive to eat like this. I think exercise is just as important and I go for a walk or run every day. You must eat more to exercise and the key is to find the perfect balance.

Probably in with the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers.
I hope your move to Beijing went well.
Remember to feed the kid organic babyfood.
