I saw the documentary Monterey Pop this weekend, directed by D.A. Pennebaker, who also made Don't Look Back about Bob Dylan (which is also good). I think it was a fascinating glimpse of the unique culture of the 1960's in the USA. It also inspired me to part my hair on the other side and to go to the thrift store and buy some corduroy pants and two $4 (half-off) "retro" sweaters.
