Ben Kingsley

I saw the House of Sand and Fog last week. I did not think it was a good movie. The only two things I enjoyed about it were Ben Kingsley and Jennifer Connelly. Ben Kingsley is a great actor and Jennifer Connelly is sexy. But the story was no good and uninspiring.
Ben Kingsley, who starred in Searching for Bobby Fischer - which I mentioned before as a movie I highly recommend - and in one of my favorite movies of all time - Gandhi, is a truly great actor. If you have not yet seen Gandhi, move everything down a notch on your iki-queue and put it at number one. It is a movie that made a tremendous impact on my life and way of thinking.
I was disappointed that Einstein beat out Gandhi as Time magazine's person of the century especially after Einstein himself said that "generations to come, it may well be, will scarce believe that such a man as this (Gandhi), ever in flesh and blood, walked upon this earth."
Another fitting quote which mentions Gandhi:

I am absolutely convinced that no wealth in the world can help humanity forward, even in the hands of the most devoted worker in this cause. The example of great and pure personages is the only thing that can lead us to find ideas and noble deeds. Money only appeals to selfishness and always irresistibly tempts its owner to abuse it. Can anyone imagine Moses, Jesus or Gandhi with the moneybags of Carnegie?
-Albert Einstein
