New Wallstreak Feature: Create your own rooms
I’ve added a new feature to wallstreak so that you can create your own public or private rooms. I am hoping this will be useful for a couple of reasons. One, you can create your own wallstreak room for anything you want - a “dummy trades” room, for example - or a room for your blog readers. Or if you trade with others (e.g. with a group at a prop firm), you can create a room private to your group.
This is the other thing - rooms can be private. When they are set to private, only those you invite to the room will be able to read and post in the room. None of the messages will be posted to the front page. You could even create a private room where you are the only member - to keep a trading diary of what stocks you are watching or ideas you have.
When you create a room, you can include an image, url and description. The name of the room shows up in large font on the top of the page. Eventually I’d like to make this page layout much more customizable to the creator of the room.
I’ve created a public room for position trades and one for wallstreak help. There is now a tab at the top for “Rooms” - which lists all rooms that you have access to.
Let me know what you think and if you have ideas. Thanks!
