I never thought I would say this, but I am now a Republican
It may take a few more days for the paperwork to go through - but I’ve filled out and sent in the forms. I will soon be an official member of the Republican party.
I did this so that I can vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.
Ron Paul has the momentum, and he is uniting many different types of people. People with very different opinions are willing to unite just to support someone who is honestly trying to do a good job. It gives me a little reassurance in humanity, really.
But the charts on intrade don’t look promising. Ron Paul actually has a very nice looking chart, but he is still a penny stock at 8.7:
