Dennis Kucinich is a total joke. He screwed up the city of Cleveland and the unions put him in office again. He's admitted to 'seeing UFOs' and went on explaining how it made him feel.

Give me a break ...

Joe Biden is a politician's politician. As greeeeezy and slippery as they come. Pass ...

RP is nothing like GW in 2000... many people, me included, thought that GW was the dumbest man in the GOP long before he won the nomination.
what his clan did to McCain during the primaries proved that not only is he dumb but also surrounded by Evil.

JC: I agree, you can save loads of money by pulling back our troops and closing down all our foreign bases. Instead of opening a Dept of Peace, how about leading by example? Instead of starting wars, how about minding our own business and being diplomatic? Be a role model for peace. We don't need another Dept, its a waste of my taxes.

I stand for no income taxes, not even the wealthy. I agree with RP when he says that income taxes operate under the assumption that the Government owns you and your means of producing wealth.

Consumption tax maybe but no income tax.

Remember, wealthy people pay no taxes. They have corporations that pay for their houses, cars, etc and have deferred comp.

Tom, it wouldn't be to hard to fund the Department of Peace using part of the current Department of Defense budget.

And we're doing okay with the huge Iraq bill. Get out of there, and you free up Billions that can go towards good.

How about putting the taxes on the super (and even sub-super) wealthy back in place? There's some money. I'm not against more taxes for the upper class. To me, the fact that the wealthier Americans pay a higher % of taxes makes up for the fact that our capitalistic society disproportionately benefits those same wealthy folks.

Ah, man. I had a huge post on RP that didn't make it. Maybe it's in your spam folder, ugly. I don't think I'll type it up again.

Summary: check out Joe Biden. Ron Paul is cool, but still too off-base on too many issues to get my vote. Also, reminds me of George Bush in 2000, who was also a fresh outsider at the time. And now...

Dennis sounds like a nice guy but the fact that he wants to create another "department" turns me off to him. I already pay too many taxes to support many other "departments."

And how can I forget Dennis Kucinich, my favorite perennial candidate?

http://www.dennis4president.com/

Another honest candidate that just stands out in politics. My favorite part of his platform is his goal to create a "Department of Peace" with the same resources the State department has to wage ware dedicated to spreading peace. Lofty stuff, but he's smarter and more "realistic" than folks would make you think.
