Random Pic #1: Firenze Bicicletta

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

Partly inspired by maoxian’s TGIF series, I have decided to post random pictures from my Documents/Pictures folder every once in a while. Here’s the first one, from our trip to Florence:
Florence bike
I experimented during this trip by taking “artsy” pictures all the time. It kind of annoyed my wife at the time, but I think they turned out really nice. One of the great things about Florence is that you can walk everywhere - a lot of the streets are blocked off to automobiles, so most people are walking or biking.

Swing and Position Trading Start: November 1st

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

I don’t think I will make any trades until November, as I adjust to the new job and transfer funds around. When I start trading in November, I plan to post the charts I am watching and my current positions and trades.

I am now a Libertarian

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

My Minnesota driver’s license expired and so I had to get one in Pennsylvania. Man, in order to get a driver’s license in Pennsylvania, you need every official document that you have ever received in your life. It is quite a process.
As I was getting my license today, I also registered to vote and they asked me to which political party I belong. I hesitated as I considered registering as a Democrat, a Republican or a Libertarian. A lot of people in my family are Democrats, and I always considered myself a Democrat, but in order to vote for Ron Paul someone told me that I need to register as a Republican. But I just can’t stand the thought of registering as a Republican. And I really like the political philosophy of Libertarianism, so I decided to go with that.
Maybe I should have chose “Other:” and wrote in Singularitarian.
