Out of it
Man, today my brain was somewhere else. Maybe I was paying too much attention to the Indians game this afternoon (they swept the series over the 2nd place tigers). I don’t know what it was. The entire day, until about 5 minutes ago, I thought it was Tuesday for some reason. And you’re not going to believe this, but I thought it was only 1:17pm when the market closed! I had many open positions and when everything stopped moving, I was like “what is going on??” I checked my internet connection and everything. I couldn’t figure it out.
I have a new computer and Vista is so unstable - the clock in the bottom right hand corner just stops sometimes. I didn’t realize how much I rely on the time in the toolbar at the bottom. It didn’t even occur to me to wonder why it was staying at 1:17 for so long. I just kept thinking, “ok, I’ve still got about 3 hours before the close…”
