Give me a break, man. He shot himself in the head. Is that how you want to end up?
Sorry to be so blunt, but give me a goddamn break.
All of these traders worship him.
He went bankrupt and shot himself in the head while sitting on a stool in a hotel.
Here is the suicide note he left to his wife:
My dear Nina: Can’t help it. Things have been bad with me. I am tired of fighting. Can’t carry on any longer. This is the only way out. I am unworthy of your love. I am a failure. I am truly sorry, but this is the only way out for me. Love Laurie
Is that your goal as a trader - to lose all of your money, to have to write a note like this to your wife, and then kill yourself at age 63?
It’s not mine and I don’t think it was his either.
