Ugly: You should really play with the genetic algo's in the YALE data modeling system, its pretty wild.  You can even embed their operators in your personal system, if you know java!</description>

		<description>Oh good, I was going to fwd you the article and now I see you already found it.

One of my friends is a freakishly smart MIT grad and one of his interests is these algos. After a fascinating conversation where he explained it all to me in simple terms I suggested applying his knowledge to the mkt but he wasn't interested (?). I'm sure all the big trading desks are atleast committing some resources to this. Can you imagine a future where algos joust against one another?</description>
