streetTRACKS Gold Shares (GLD)
The frustration continued today as I was stopped out of a short on GLD at breakeven, only to watch it drop like a rock:
I shouldn’t have adjusted my stop to breakeven so soon, but I let the results of other trades influence me. I had been stopped out of two trades for -2R and I didn’t want to lose any more, so I set the stop to breakeven. It is important to remember that each trade is its own trade and should be executed as usual, regardless of the result of other trades.
Frustration won’t help your trading, either. And I haven’t been meditating. I am going to start meditating tomorrow through the end of the month in order to help soothe my frustration.
